Whitney's Wonderland: June 2007

In my Spanish class my sophmore year, when asked what people did over the weekend, one girl told a story about how she and her friends went up to "PG". I turned around, completely confused, as well as impressed that she used the term so confidently. It only took me a matter of moments to realize that she was referring to Pleasant Grove, Utah, and it took me an even fewer amount of moments to laugh at how the OC has had such an impact on Americans. So, since that experience, I haven't used the term 'PG', until today. And now I love it!
As we all know, Brandon and Christine just bought a house in PG, and this weekend is moving weekend. So today, after a successfully fun trip to Home Depot, we turned past the Purple Turtle (a restaurant/landmark in PG, close to the new house) and started our day at the new house. K, first of all, the house is adorable. It's very spacious and everything looks great! Riley is going to have so much fun crawling all over and playing in the sandbox in the backyard. Grammy with Carson. Kat and Carson came up, which was so much fun. The backyard is grande in this house and has a swingset, plastic climby thing, sandbox, and trampoline. It is going to be so much fun! Needless to say, Grammy was in heaven with both of her grandchildren there with her!
