Today we walked around the Old City. Here, they brought stones up from the Roman times and made the streets out of them. So the big stones are from ROMAN times! Crazy, huh?
Amie and me at the Western Wall. It wasn't too crowded today, which was good, but it's still a cool place. Behind us and to the right is the pathway up to the Temple Mount (the scaffolding part). On most days it's only open to Muslims, but sometimes they'll open it to the public, but you don't know when, so it's interesting...Hopefully we'll get to go up there!
Tag--this one's for you. This is one of the firestations for Jerusalem. Yah, it's sweet.
Me and Amie outside the area for the Garden Tomb. It's awesome b/c the streets are so busy and crazy, but the Garden Tomb park is so peaceful and spiritual.
Me, Caitlin, and Amie at the Garden Tomb. It's such an awesome place.
We're so blessed that we know this! I loved this day!

3 months to go! We are jealous! To have the classes and the field trips together--what a blessing! The whole country is amazing.

This is making me miss Jerusalem so much! Isn't the garden tomb amazing? I'm glad you're enjoying it so much. And I love getting to enjoy it a second time through you! (And I'm very jealous that you get to be there for a whole semester, by the way!!)
